Causes:

Regan MOVES (TM) is a fitness class designed specifically for those with chronic challenges.  Clients include those without chronic conditions as well as people with MS, lupus, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and more.  The class utilizes free weights and aerobics.  Regan uses her degree in Mechanical Engineering to reduce the stress felt by the joints and muscles during each exercise.  Short segments of weights are staggered with short segments of low-impact aerobics.  Calories burned per session can be up to 1000.  Join Regan in Regan MOVES.  Sign up at:  reganmizuno@gmail.com and (720) 470.8049.  Please visit www.reganmoves.com to read more about this exciting new exercise program. 

Regan has founded “BeatLupus”, an organization that strives to help people with lupus and other autoimmune diseases and chronic conditions including chronic pain.  Through the reduction of inflammation through nutrition and exercises geared towards reducing stress on joints and muscles, pain can be reduced and and energy and quality of life can be increased.  The organization is devoted to raising funds for research for a cure and awareness through music and advocacy.  Regan is aiming to throw a concert to raise funds for the Lupus Research Institute.  Regan enjoys advocating for lupus patients to help increase funding for patient and doctor education and to help find a cure. Regan was recently lobbying on Capitol Hill for the Lupus Research Institute, and enjoys speaking at political forums locally.
